SelfManager.ai uses Stripe to process all payments. Stripe accepts major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) and supports Apple Pay and Google Pay where available on your device and region.

No. Only the person who subscribes to the Team plan pays the $30/month flat fee. Invited collaborators get full access to the tables you share with them, including editing tasks, leaving comments, and uploading images and docs, without paying anything.

No per-seat fees and no hidden costs. The Individual and Team plans are flat-rate, with no per-user or per-task charges: text, images and audio are unlimited, and docs can use up to 5 GB on Individual and 25 GB on Team. Two add-ons are optional: more AI credits if you go past the weekly allowance, and extra space for docs, from 10 GB for $2 a month up to 1 TB, if you need more than your plan holds.

Yes. You can cancel your subscription from your account settings at any time, and access continues until the end of the billed period.

Yes. Plan changes take effect at the next billing cycle, with the new rate prorated based on remaining time on the current plan.

AI credits power every AI action — generating tasks from text, summarising a table, running AI Plan, producing AI Review, or chatting with SelfManager's AI. Requests start at 1 credit on the Fast model and 5 credits on the Thinking model (you pick the model from a pill on the input bar before sending), and rise with how much data the request carries and how long the answer is. A week of work reviewed on Fast typically costs 1 credit and a month 2; on Thinking a week is 5 and a month around 9. The prices you see before anything runs are estimates, and you're charged for what the AI actually reads and writes. The Individual plan includes 35 AI credits per week, and the Team plan includes 70. Credits reset every Monday. Purchased credits never expire, unlike the weekly credits included in your subscription.

Fast is built for everyday actions — short replies, quick summaries, and simple plan generation. It starts at 1 credit. Thinking is the deeper-reasoning model: better for complex multi-step plans, long lookback windows, and substantive clarifying questions. It starts at 5 credits, because it reads and reasons over far more before answering. Both rise with how much data the request carries and how long the answer is, so a quarter costs more than a week on either model. You can switch between them on every chat input via the model pill, so you only pay the higher rate when you actually want the deeper response — and before anything runs you see an estimate, and you're charged for what the AI actually uses. With Claude, GPT, Grok and Gemini 4 Argon in Thinking, an answer, plan or table cut short once the AI has started on it (by Stop, by closing the page, or by a lost connection), even before its first words, is charged the most it could cost, because their thinking cannot be counted once it is cut. A plan or table starts only when your credits cover the most it could cost; on the other models, one cut short is charged at most its starting price.

If you exceed your weekly allowance, you can buy more from the Subscription page at any time. The minimum purchase is 50 credits for $2.50. Purchased credits never expire, so anything you buy stays available even if you don't use it that week. Free weekly credits are always used before purchased credits.

Yes. Requests from AI assistants and other apps connected to SelfManager's MCP server (in a private beta) use the same AI credits, at one price for every app. Reading a day, a table or a list, ticking or editing tasks, recording how long a task took, setting deadlines, pinning tables, listing images, recordings and docs, reading a transcript or a doc's text, editing a repeating table, changing a table's settings, and deleting are free. Reading several days or totals, searching, seeing an image, copying or moving a table (charged once it is done), and adding tables, tasks, comments, notes, journal lines or a conversation saved to AI History use 1 AI credit a request: a long range is read a page at a time, each page one request. Tasks use 1 AI credit for every 25 added or part of 25, a new table's first 25 included, and making many tables at once 1 AI credit for every 10 tables or part of 10 (30 daily tables of up to 25 tasks each are 3 credits); one request adds up to 200 tasks to a table, and up to 1,000 tables. Each charged request shows on your AI Usage page with the app's name.
