Self-Manager.net is becoming SelfManager.ai (same product, new primary domain)

Self-Manager.net is becoming SelfManager.ai

Introduction

In a few weeks, SelfManager.ai will become our main domain. Your account, your data, and the product stay exactly the same. Nothing is being sold, merged, or transferred to any other company — this is simply a domain + brand evolution that better reflects where Self-Manager is today.

Self-Manager.net will continue to work, and once the transition is complete it will redirect to SelfManager.ai, so you won't lose access to anything.

The short version

  • ✅ We acquired SelfManager.ai
  • ✅ In the near future, it will become the primary domain
  • Self-Manager.net will redirect to the new domain
  • Same product, same team, same mission
  • ✅ No action required from you

Why we're doing this

Over the past year, Self-Manager has grown into something very clear:

A productivity system that uses practical AI to reduce busywork and help you plan and review faster.

We now have 10 powerful AI features inside the platform, and we'll keep building more — not as "AI for hype," but as AI that makes planning, execution, and reviews more pleasant and less mentally heavy.

So the new domain is not a sudden change. It's simply the most accurate label for what Self-Manager already is.

Why ".ai" fits Self-Manager better in 2026

1) It communicates value instantly

When someone hears "SelfManager.ai," they immediately understand the direction: a productivity tool that uses AI to help you work smarter.

That's already true today — and it will be even more true as we keep improving AI-assisted planning, summaries, and reviews.

2) It's a cleaner, more professional brand signal

In the current market, .ai has become the default for modern AI-powered products. It feels aligned with the category and easier to remember, especially for new users who discover the app through content, social posts, or recommendations.

3) It matches our roadmap

Self-Manager is built around a simple idea: your work happens on dates. Days, weeks, months, quarters. That's where real planning happens.

AI helps make that system faster and clearer:

  • turning messy weeks into readable summaries
  • helping you review consistently
  • reducing cognitive load
  • making planning feel smoother instead of heavier

The new domain reflects the future direction while keeping the core system unchanged.

What changes (and what doesn't)

Let's make this extremely clear.

What changes

  • The primary domain will change from self-manager.net to selfmanager.ai
  • The brand name will appear more often as SelfManager (slightly tighter for the AI era)

What does NOT change

  • Ownership: not sold to any company
  • The team behind the product
  • Your account and login
  • Your data and projects
  • The features
  • Pricing and subscriptions (no changes because of the domain move)
  • Support and product direction (still focused on practical productivity)

This is a domain shift, not a product shift.

Transition plan

We're doing this gradually to keep everything stable and seamless.

Phase 1: Preparation (now)

  • Domain setup, infrastructure, security, redirects, and testing
  • Making sure the experience remains smooth across login, app pages, and emails

Phase 2: SelfManager.ai becomes the primary domain (in a few weeks)

  • SelfManager.ai becomes the main domain you'll see and use
  • Everything continues to work as usual

Phase 3: Self-Manager.net becomes a permanent redirect

  • self-manager.net will redirect to SelfManager.ai
  • Existing links will still work
  • Bookmarks won't break — they'll simply land on the new domain

In other words: you'll still be able to type either domain and reach the same product.

What you need to do

Our users won't need to do anything.

But if you want to be extra tidy, you can:

  • Update your bookmark from self-manager.net to selfmanager.ai
  • If you saved the site in a password manager, it may auto-update after the redirect

That's it.

A note about the past year (and what's next)

The past year has been a great year for Self-Manager. We improved the product, expanded what the platform can do, and pushed Self-Manager further into the direction we believe in:

A calm, date-centric system for real work — enhanced by AI where it genuinely helps.

The domain change is a reflection of that progress.

And next, we'll keep pushing on what matters:

  • more useful AI features (not gimmicks)
  • better planning and review flows
  • more clarity with less effort
  • a more enjoyable daily productivity experience
